Disadvantages of abortion (our own points of view)

1. Abortion does not give the child that is in the womb a chance at life. The baby also has a chance of living. Killing the baby is also considered as murdering as the baby is a life.

2. The child may have special talent and ability that can bring benefits to the society.

3. Having an abortion always lessens the mothers’ chances for having children later in life. Even though it doesn't happen to many women, the probability is still high as the mothers’ bodies may be unfit to have babies in the future.

4. The mothers who choose abortion will feel guilty. The loss of life and the emotional scars will be carried by the woman for the rest of her life.

5. Abortion is against God’s will. Babies are the gifts from God. Therefore, we should cherish them and take good care of them. Thus, abort a baby is considered committing a sin in the religious perspective.

Eventually, there is an alternative to solve the problem. Instead of aborting the baby, the baby can be given up for adoption. Let him have a chance to live, have a chance to breathe….
